The Fiber Optic Association (FOA) is pleased to announce a partnership program with the NJATC.

FOA/SCA to offer two courses at NTI 2008
The FOA and SCA (http://www.scausa.org/) will combine forces to offer two courses at NTI this summer. 2006 NTI graduate and FOA Board Member Tom Collins will offer a FOA CFOT hands-on course (both AM and PM). Jim Hayes will offer a new course - an advanced course on fiber optic network design. It's a unique opportunity to go beyond the basics and learn some new stuff! Watch http://njatc.org/nti/index.aspx for the schedule.

Who Is The FOA?
The FOA (The Fiber Optic Association, Inc.) is the "professional society of fiber optics," a non-profit educational organization that has certified over 14,000 fiber optic technicians over the last ten years. FOA CFOT certification is recognized worldwide and offered to all students by over 125 schools, training organizations and fiber optic manufacturers in the US, Canada and overseas, plus is used internally by organizations like Cisco and NASA.

What does this mean for you?
The NJATC apprenticeship training program is now FOA approved and you can offer FOA certification to your apprentices and journeymen.
You can become a FOA certified fiber optic instructor through the cooperation of the NJATC NTI and FOA.
The NJATC Apprenticeship Program will be listed on the FOA website as an approved school.

Of course, you can take advantage of the FOA's other programs:
