Analog/Mixed Signals Design Engineer
You will be responsible for the design and development of analog/power
circuitry for optical sub-systs such as fiber amplifiers. In this capacity,
and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will participate in the
products definition; drive the designs from concept, specifications,
prototyping, H/W test, compliance to production release. You will also drive
the boards through PCB placement and layout and work closely with the rest
of the engineering team through design, debug, integration and test.
· Potential candidate must have a detailed understanding of
analog/mixed signals circuitry and control electronic design, as well as O/E
components.
· Your experience with board level H/W design includes schematic

Optical Component Engineer
You will be responsible for the characterization of optical - active and
passive components with the goal of collecting and analyzing data to yield
information on device performance and reliability. In this capacity, you

develop requirements for optical components, select vendors, develop
component performance test procedures, and review qualification reports of
prospective suppliers.
· Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience is required.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of

with the H/W engineering and Physical Design groups to design the fiber
routing of each module and the optical interconnect between modules. You
will also assist in transferring the modules into production.
· Minimum experience of 3 years in the fiber-optics industry,
designing or developing packaging technology.
· Familiarity with mechanical design S/W, such as Pro/E, and thermal

You will be responsible for testing DWDM fiber transmission modules and
optical sub-systems. In this capacity, you will lead the definition and
automation of the test environment, develop and implement test plans to
validate design and verify product functionality and performance, design
test consoles and conduct tests, and verify test results against applicable
sub-systems requirements. You will also assist in the testing aspects during
the transfer to manufacturing. Will interact with the System, S/W, H/W, and

the Design Engineers. Perform new tool evaluation and selection. Work with

OPTICAL MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
Requires experience taking complex fiber optic assemblies with both passive and active optical components from development into production. Optical manufacturing experience a plus.
-Requires 5+ years experience.
-Some travel required.
-BS or equivalent.
