The Fiber Optic Association has developed guidelines for training course approval and approves only those schools meeting our standards. This school offers training meeting FOA standards and is authorized to offer FOA certifications.

The Light Brigade's courses offer both classroom instruction and hands-on practices covering: optical fibers and cables, connectors and connectorization, splicing, cable management, system design, installation, fiber optic testing, OTDR theory and operation, emergency restorations, safety, maintenance, system standards, the outside plant, FTTX, SONET, DWDM, PMD/CD, enterprise, utilities, and video systems. Training is available in Seattle, Washington as well as at locations throughout the United States. All classes can be customized to be held at the client's facilities. The Light Brigade also produces professional-quality Staff Development DVDs, training CDs and computer-based training modules. FOA certification and BICSI credits are available.
