Course Info: The course provides all students basic knowledge in the area(s) of Fiber Theory, Fiber Types, Cable Types, and Cable Installation Techniques. Hands-on training is provided in the area(s) of the OTDR (Optivisor-400), Fluke network OFTM (5612 and 5632), X-77 Fusion Splicer, Fujikura Arc Fusion Splicer FSM-50S, OTS-300 Series Test Set, VFL, Termination (via the use of the Unicam Kit, Anaerobic Kit, Heat cure Kit and Fan-Out Kit), Splicing (using the Cam splice Kit and the X77 Fusion Splicer), Hardware includes the PCH-01U and 04U, WIC-02P and WIC-04P, Students will complete Testing and Documentation, and successfully pass a 77 question written examination. The course is 1 week in length.
Class Frequency: 4 week cycle then 1 week break. Training can be requested to meet a requesters need with a one week notice. We offer classes at customer's location, as well as locations in South Carolina, Florida and Georgia, as well as Kuwait.
